Kellye is a doctoral student working on her dissertation in Spanish Medieval Literature at Temple University. She is the co-founder and Chair of TUGSEP (Temple University Graduate Students of Español & Português). An African American woman, she commands the language as if she were a native Spanish speaker. She has taught Spanish and Portuguese to senior citizens, adults, young adults and children in varying settings for the past 7 years. Kellye also has experience as a volunteer ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor at Casa del Carmen, Philadelphia, through the Project SHINE program at Temple University. Her passion for language, cultures and people is contagious. A lover of travel she has visited Mexico, Italy, and Portugal, but her list of travels has only begun.

At LASI she is an instructor, translator, Adult Program Director and webmaster.

Pilar is a doctoral student working on her dissertation in Spanish Medieval Literature at Temple University. She is the co-founder and Vice Chair of TUGSEP (Temple University Graduate Students of Español & Português). A Peruvian woman, she is a native Spanish speaker. She has taught Spanish at Temple for 5 years and in her native Peru she taught Architecture, Environmental Systems and Design and Architectural Drawing at the Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón in Lima, Perú. She loves language, cultures and people from the various countries that she has visited including Mexico, Italy, Brazil, Spain, France, Morocco, Chile, Canada and Portugal. She is also the Treasurer of ANPA (Asociación Nacional Peruano-Americana).
